Janette Garthwaite
Janette Garthwaite works in her south London studio using texture and colour to produce vibrant kiln-formed glass pieces. Her practice includes fused vessels, jewellery and wall-hung glass 'paintings' for sale through gallery shops and as private commissions.

Details about work or recent projects:
Janette produces work for major galleries from the Royal Academy of Arts to the UK Antarctic Heritage Trust at Port Lockroy supplying gift items for exhibition ranges. Although these are multiples each piece is handmade ensuring a unique product for the buyer.
A recent project based on photographs of her Yorkshire family garden has so far taken the form of a series of glass 'paintings'.
