Staffan Gnosspelius is a printmaker who illustrates children's books. He works from his own texts as well as those of other authors. He has been published in Sweden (Sjung för mig Pappa, Simma lugnt Mörten Maud, Gå och bada Mister Räf!) and South Korea (The Gift of the Magi, Over the Himalayas). Among his numerous accomplishments he has been selected for the prestigious Bologna Children's Book Fair Award three times and in 2008 he was awarded the prize for Best Illustrator from the Swedish Library Association.

Staffan is originally from Lund in Sweden and he trained at Edinburgh College of Art before moving to London.

His clients include MEC Global, Barrington Stoke, The Macrobert Theatre, Opal Publishing and Macmillan Education.
